K5 Overview 

September 21-25, 2026

Memory Verse: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5 

Unit: Anna Dewdney/Social and Emotional Skills

Language Arts: We will work on the letter Tt. We will write upper and lower case T and identify the T sound in the beginning and middle of words. We will also be blending words with the “t” sound at the beginning and end. 

Math: We will be counting and comparing numbers to 10. Using different manipulatives to count to 10 and comparing numbers to 10. 

F & F Unit: We will be wrapping up our unit on Visualization and Retelling. 

Announcements:

• Please remember to leave ALL toys and valuables at home.  

• The light blue uniform shirt will be required for the field trip on October 16th. Please make sure you have one. 

• Don’t forget to check your Tuesday folders EVERY TUESDAY and return the next day!
