Building Bridges: Annual Fund Chairs
Brainerd Baptist School has been part of our everyday life for the past nine years, since our oldest daughter started K3. It was important to us that we find a school that was not only academically competitive, but that aligned with our faith and family values. We wanted to ensure that our daughters received an education along with fostering a solid foundation of faith during the early and impressionable years, before launching them into middle school and beyond. Our school does this beautifully both in the classroom and through the staff and faculty. It’s visibly apparent when on campus that the teachers genuinely seem to want to be there and have such amazing camaraderie with each other and their students. Our kids are so fortunate to be in a nurturing environment where teachers love them not only for the year they have them, but in the years beyond. A note from a K4 teacher on 5th grade graduation, a text from a first-grade teacher letting you know your daughter visited the morning of graduation and all she could manage without crying was an “I love you”, a unique handshake routine with a 3rd grade teacher, and the list goes on. My now 7th grader often asks to walk her sister to class, so she can walk the halls and hug former teachers, who know exactly what she has been up to, as they continue to follow along and cheer from the sidelines. That is what makes Brainerd Baptist unique. They are not only learning, but they are truly being cared for and championed inside and out. This is why we support Brainerd Baptist today and will continue to support Brainerd Baptist into the future. To ensure that this school can continue to pour into the lives of our children, all while providing an excellent academic basis for their future. To date, Jeff and I can say without a doubt that choosing Brainerd Baptist 9 years ago was the best parenting decision we have ever made.

Our annual fund, Building Bridges, serves as one of the most vital sources of financial support for Brainerd Baptist School, second only to tuition. This fund plays a crucial role in sustaining the daily operations of our school and ensures that we can continue offering an exceptional educational experience grounded in Christian values. The money raised through Building Bridges helps close the gap between the tuition paid by families and the actual cost of educating each student, a cost that is intentionally kept lower to make a BBS education accessible to as many families as possible.
