Tuition Overview

For many families, an independent school education represents a meaningful investment in their child’s future. At Brainerd Baptist School, our distinctive educational philosophy emphasizes critical and creative thinking alongside spiritual development, helping students become well-rounded learners whose academic success continues into the top middle and high schools in the Chattanooga area.

Independent schools are nonprofit institutions primarily supported by tuition, charitable contributions, and endowment income. They offer significant advantages to students, including smaller class sizes, individualized attention, and rich fine arts programs within a well-rounded Christian environment. These benefits often come at a premium, but they provide long-term value in academic, social, and spiritual growth.

At Brainerd Baptist School, we are committed to offering a comprehensive academic program at a value that is affordable for families. Tuition varies among independent schools in the Chattanooga area, and it’s important to consider additional fees that some schools charge for textbooks, activities, testing, technology, and materials. At BBS, tuition includes books, field trips, materials, and access to state-of-the-art technology.

  • We offer a variety of ways to pay tuition. Brainerd Baptist School partners with FACTS Tuition Management and allows parents to manage and pay tuition online. Payment options are listed below. If you have additional questions, please contact Chris Shields.

Payment in Full | This option requires that payment for the entire year be made in June. Parents that choose this option will receive a two percent discount on tuition paid.

Half/Half Payment | This option allows parents to pay tuition in two payments. The first in June, and the second in January.

Monthly Drafts | This option allows parents to spread out tuition over either 10 or 12 months. The 10-month plan coincides with the school year and runs from August through May. The 12-month plan is our most popular plan because it offers the lowest monthly payment. This plan runs from June through May. Parents can choose between the 5th, 16th, and 25th of each month for their payment to be drafted.

We know that situations arise where you might need to move a payment date. We are always happy to work with you, but all changes must be made prior to three business days ahead of your scheduled date.
