Mollie Harvey, 4th & 5th Grade Teacher

B.S. – University of Tennessee, Chattanooga

Mollie is from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and is proud to call the area home. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in December of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in K–5 Elementary Education and K–12 ESL, along with a middle grades mathematics certification. Mollie spent three years teaching 3rd grade in Hamilton County Schools before joining the Brainerd Baptist School community. She is excited to be teaching 4th-grade math and technology for 3rd and 5th grades and looks forward to helping students grow academically and develop confidence as learners.

Mollie got married to Bryce this summer. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, playing sports, and exploring Chattanooga. Mollie grew up playing soccer and running cross country and track, and she still enjoys playing sports for fun. She also enjoys reading, being creative, and spending time with friends and family. Mollie and Bryce share their home with their two energetic dogs, Neyland and Wrangler.

Mollie is an active member of Citizens of Heaven Church, where she enjoys serving in the children’s ministry. One of her favorite verses is John 13:7, “Jesus answered him, ‘What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.” Even when we cannot see the full picture yet, God is always at work, and she hopes to encourage her students to trust Him as they grow in both their faith and learning.
