Chris Shields, Chief Financial Officer/Ice Cream Man

Chris joined Brainerd Baptist School as CFO in 2016. He was born and raised in Crossville Tennessee and earned a B.S. in Business Management from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. After moving to Chattanooga in 1991, he earned a B.S in accounting followed by a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He subsequently passed the CPA exam and worked as an auditor for the firms of Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter and Arthur Andersen. Chris' children, Zoe and Ethan, are alumni of Brainerd Baptist School, and Chris has spent many volunteer hours here, most notably as the ice cream man.
