Caitlin Rogers serves as our Visual Art Teacher for grades K4 through 5th grade. In addition to leading the Art program, she currently serves as the head coach for the Cross Country team and continues as the assistant coach for Track. Caitlin feels incredibly blessed to invest in children within a Christian environment, combining her two passions—art and running. She considers it a privilege to help students grow not only as athletes and artists, but also as people of faith who learn to live out their faith through actions, relationships, and daily lives.
In the classroom, she focuses on building foundational art skills, guiding students toward advanced concepts in a variety of media, and preparing young creators for the annual art show held during the week of Grandparents Day. Before Caitlin joined Brainerd Baptist, she taught middle school art for several years in North Georgia, as well as at the Hunter Museum of American Art during numerous summer art camps. She has coached cross country and/or track for eight years between Hickory Valley Christian School and Brainerd Baptist School.
Outside of running and art, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family and growing in her faith. She has been married to her husband, Michael, for 18 years, and they are kept busy with all four of their children and their many extracurriculars. Madison is in the third grade at Brainerd Baptist, and her other three children—Chandler (6th), McKinley (8th), and Mabry (10th)—attend Baylor School.
