Caitlin, now fully immersed in her role as our Art teacher, joined the Brainerd Baptist School community in 2024 as a parent volunteer, substitute Art teacher, and assistant coach for our Cross Country and Track teams. In addition to leading the Art program, she currently serves as the head coach for the Cross Country team and continues as the assistant coach for Track. Caitlin feels incredibly blessed to invest in children within a Christian environment, combining her two passions—art and running.

After earning her graduate degree, Caitlin taught Middle School Art in Dalton, Georgia, for several years until the birth of her third child, Chandler. During her time there, she not only taught foundational art classes but also created an Advanced Art Program. Through that initiative, students engaged in high-level projects and participated in art shows, contests, and educational field trips.

Before joining Brainerd Baptist School, Caitlin spent five years coaching Cross Country and/or Track at Hickory Valley Christian School. She also has over a decade of experience teaching summer art camps at the Hunter Museum of American Art. Additionally, she has worked or interned at the Children’s Museum and The Headley Whitney Museum in Lexington, Kentucky.

Caitlin is the proud mother of Chandler (5th grade) and Madison (2nd grade), both students at Brainerd Baptist School. Her two older daughters, Mabry (9th grade) and McKinley (7th grade), attend Baylor School. Outside of teaching and coaching, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family, supporting her children in their many sports and activities, serving in her church, volunteering, and expressing her creativity.
