Angel was born and raised in Chattanooga. She graduated from GPS and then attended Elon University in North Carolina where she earned a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Angel taught 1st grade for 2 years in Charlotte, North Carolina before moving back home to Chattanooga where she taught in the public school system for 13 years before beginning her career at BBS. This year will be her fifth year at Brainerd Baptist teaching Kindergarten!

Angel and her husband Todd have two children, Elizabeth Grace (12) and Charlie (10). They both began their BBS careers in K3. Elizabeth Grace is in 7th grade at GPS and Charlie will be in 5th grade. Angel and her family love to spend time outdoors; hiking, running, riding bikes, working in the yard, and playing on the beach. She even loves to dabble in small remodeling projects at home!

Angel is a member and Deacon at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her favorite bible verse is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”.
