Abby Salley is thrilled to be back at Brainerd Baptist School, where her own educational journey first began. A Chattanooga native, Abby attended Brainerd Baptist for elementary school before graduating from Grace Baptist Academy, where she completed grades 6 through 12. She went on to earn her associate's degree from Chattanooga State and her bachelor’s degree from Lee University. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, with the goal of deepening her knowledge and teaching with excellence in the classroom.

As an active member of Brainerd Baptist Church, Abby is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships with her students and creating a classroom environment where Christ is both known and loved. She believes learning should be fun, uplifting, and rooted in both academic and spiritual growth.

Outside the classroom, Abby enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, staying active, and playing pickleball. She’s excited to get to know your child and looks forward to partnering with you to make this school year a joyful and enriching experience. One of her favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
