Katie Adams was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She is a BBS alumna and attended Brainerd Baptist from K4 to 5th grade. Katie attended Bryan College and graduated with her degree in Elementary Education. Katie is married to Matthew Adams, and they have two daughters, Madelyn and Eleanor. Madelyn will be in 5th grade, and Eleanor will be in 2nd grade. After marrying Matthew, she moved to Crossville, TN, and spent five years teaching in the Cumberland County school system. This will be her eighth year at Brainerd Baptist. She has spent the first seven years of her career teaching multiple grade levels and is ecstatic to start her sixth year in third grade. Katie and her family attend Brainerd Baptist Church. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, practicing different types of handwriting, and learning new hobbies!
