Karica first started working at Brainerd Baptist in January of 2007 with the After School Care program. In her time at Brainerd, she has also worked as a substitute, teacher's assistant, and in BBS Summer Camp, before moving into the classroom as a teacher. She loves teaching K4 and helping students learn through songs, books, fun hands-on activities, and sharing her love for nature. Both Karica and her husband grew up in the northeast but met while attending college in Chattanooga. She loves coffee, cooking, playing piano, collecting books, and being outside. She and her husband Derek enjoy exploring the outdoors with their dog Maximus.
