Cathy came to BBS in 2006 and served as Assistant Head for 13 years. She began her 40 + years career as a classroom teacher that led to the following professional expansions: educational therapist, teacher of exceptional students, principal, academic dean, adjunct professor, and consultant for the National Institute of Learning Development. Cathy is now a member of our academic counseling team where she continues to love and assist children in their academic development.

Cathy and her husband, Dan, are members at Brainerd Baptist Church. This December, they will celebrate 50 years of marriage, 4 children, and 17 grandchildren.

Her favorite verse is I Thessalonians 5:23, 24 - ”Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.”
