TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week at BBS. This is a special week to honor our special teachers!!
Thursday, we will show our appreciation to our cafeteria staff, our Lunchroom Superheros! We are very thankful for these sweet ladies!
Friday, MAY 10, is a half day of school.
K2-K4 - 11:00
K5 - 11:15
1st-5th Grade - 11:30
AFTER SCHOOL CARE ON FRIDAY, MAY 10
Childcare will be offered from 11:30 am - 5:30 pm. The cost will be $35. There will be no hourly charges for that afternoon. **Your child does have to be registered for after care for this day if they are staying. ** Each child that is registered will be charged whether they are here or not. Each child will need to bring a lunch with a non-carbonated drink. Snacks will be provided in the afternoon.

HEALTH WEEK
Health Week is a fun week at BBS!! Nurse Rachel always has some fun ways to encourage good health!
May 16, will be Nurse Appreciation Day! This is a great time to show Nurse Adams how much we appreciate her always taking care of us.
FIELD DAY
Students in K5-5th grade will participate in Field Day on Friday, May 17.
Students in K3 & K4 will participate in Field Day on Monday, May 20. If you would like to volunteer to help during these fun days, contact Coach Barrows at zbarrows@brainerdbaptist.org.
GRADUATION AND YEAR END PROGRAMS
K3&K4 will have their year end program on Wednesday, May 22. The program will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This will be K3 & K4 students' last day of school. No child care will be available for students in K3 & K4.
K5 Graduation will be on Thursday, May 23, in the Sanctuary. Graduation will start at 9:00 a.m. This will be K5 students' last day of school. No child care will be available for students in K5.
5th Grade students will graduate on Friday, May 24, at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. No child care will be available.
FRIDAY, MAY 24, WILL BE THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS IN 1ST-5TH GRADE. IT IS A HALF DAY OF SCHOOL.
THERE WILL BE NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE ON FRIDAY, MAY 24.

Be on the lookout for your student's artwork from art class! Work will be distributed in the next few weeks during their art classes. We will send our last few projects home during the last week of school. Thanks, Mrs. van der Meer
