Cathy came to BBS in 2006, with now over 40 years of experience with children, including raising four of her own. She began her career as a classroom teacher. This ignited her passion for educating children and led to the following professional expansions: educational therapist, teacher of exceptional students, principal, academic dean, adjunct professor, and consultant for the National Institute of Learning Development. Cathy and her husband, Dan, have been married for over 45 years and serve together in the Celebrate Recovery ministry of Brainerd Baptist Church. She loves time with family (13 grandchildren), reading and quiet evenings at home with her husband.
