Applying to BBS

New admissions are done through-out the year if spaces are open. Available positions for the next academic year are determined after reenrollment in February. Admission decisions are made after the applicant’s file is complete with all the appropriate paperwork and assessments. At the bottom of this page are the specific programs that have separate pages. You may view them by clicking on their links.

Following are the steps to apply to BBS.

1. Call Brainerd Baptist School                      (423) 622-3873           to schedule a tour with Sean Corcoran, our Head of School. NO admission will be made until a tour is completed. You may pick up an admissions packet at the school office or you may request a packet to be mailed to you by clicking on the link on the right side of this page.

2. Complete and return the application form with the fee, a copy of the applicant’s last report card, and most recent achievement test scores. Ask your child’s current school to forward copies of a grade transcript directly to Brainerd Baptist School. If you have other information (such as educational testing and/or personal evaluations) please provide that as well.

3. If your child currently attends school, give the Recommendation Form and envelope to his/her current homeroom teacher. The teacher should mail or fax (423)624-5164 the completed form directly to the Brainerd Baptist School Admissions Office. We cannot accept this form directly from parents.

4. After the application is received, a readiness assessment will be scheduled.

5. Class visits for the applicants are scheduled and coordinated through the Admissions Office.
