CLASSROOM GROUP PICTURES

We will be having classroom group pictures on February 1 and 2. Students in K3MWF/K3MF, K4MWF/K4MF, K5, 1^st and 2^nd grade will have their pictures made tomorrow, February 1. Students in K3TH/K3MF, K4MF, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade will have their pictures made on February 2. Just a reminder, students in 1^st-4^th grade will be photographed in their uniforms. Students in 5^th grade need to wear white shirts with khaki civilian pants/skirts.

ATTENTION BBS PARENTS

If you have a younger child that you want to attend Brainerd Baptist School next year, you need to begin the admission process immediately. Space is already limited in several grades. We want to be sure to accommodate our existing families in the admission process before open enrollment begins.

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY INFORMATION

Grandparents’ Day will be celebrated on Friday, March 2. In order to ensure that all of our grandparents are included, we ask that you update this information on RenWeb. Remember to also update your personal information on RenWeb as well.

RE-ENROLLMENT PACKETS IN TODAY’S TUESDAY FOLDERS

Look for re-enrollment packets in today’s Tuesday folders. Please note that the deadline to turn in re-enrollment contracts is Friday, March 2. Contracts received after March 2 will be charged a late fee.

BIBLE

January Bible reading logs are due on Thursday. The February Bible reading log is in today’s Tuesday folder. Students in first grade did a fabulous job on their first "Fill in the Blank" verse test. Hooray for them!

A NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

Be on the lookout for an e-mail from your Development Office asking for those interested in PSO and fundraising leadership opportunities for the 2012-2013 school year. It's time to start thinking about that and we are looking for parents who are excited about helping us lead in these key roles. You may contact Julie Prescott in the school office at 622-3873, ext. 163 with questions.

EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENTS

For announcements regarding opening and closing of school in case of emergencies such as snowstorms, you will be informed through our parent phone notification, E-mail, BBS Website at www.brainerdbaptistschool.org, and social networks (Facebook & Twitter). In the event you do not have power or Internet, you can always call (423) 451-6280 to reach the BBS weather line. Please do not call the school since we share a phone system and voice mail with the church. All information will be given to the media in ample time for students to prepare for school.

Early room will always be available 45 minutes prior to the start of school. This will hold true even if the start of the school day is delayed.
