Brainerd Baptist School is not only a great place for education, but is also a great place for teachers as well. Occasionally we will have openings and are looking for highly motivated educators to join our team. We seek individuals who:

Interested teachers should submit a resume, transcript, reference letter, background check authorization, and application for employment, including a philosophy of education for consideration. Typically, applications are reviewed in late winter and early spring. Due to the competitive nature of the applicant pool, it is advisable that interested teachers apply as early as possible. After careful review, a select group of applicants will be contacted for a first round interview. Questions or electronic application submission may be sent to our Headmaster.

Currently, we are accepting applications for the following positions: 2nd and 3rd Grade Teacher

Interested applicants will be responsible for instructing students in reading, social studies science and mathematics, while creating a positive and nurturing environment for learning. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to work in an independent Christian environment. The candidate will also have knowledge of differentiated instruction, be flexible, collaborative, knowledgeable of child development, a lifelong learner, and possess a true love for young children. All new teachers are required to attend summer training on our Foundations and Frameworks reading program. This training will be conducted on our campus on July 16-25. Traning will run from 8am until 3pm Monday thru Friday.
