K5 Overview

September 25-29, 2017

Memory Verse: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Unit: Pumpkins

Language Arts: We will work on the letter Pp. We will write upper and lower case P and identify the P sound in the beginning and middle of words.

Math: We will work on counting to 100.

F & F Unit: Referential Representation (It is possible to imagine things described with words). Questions to practice during reading: 1. When you read this story, can you imagine what it would look like? 2. How does the picture match the author’s words?

Please make sure your child is bringing their blue tote bag each day. Remember to leave all toys and valuables at home.

Please remember that our day begins at 8:15. If your child enters the room after 8:15, he/she is tardy. On our report cards, 5 tardies equals 1 absence.

If your child comes in after 8:15, please walk them in and sign them in with Mrs. Michelle in the Kindergarten Office. Also, if your child leaves before 2:30, they must be signed out in the Kindergarten Office as well. Thank you!
