The Jaguar’s back is flowering
With delicate rosettes,
As if she’s grown a garden there,
So beautiful, and yet
There’s danger in the jaguar’s gait,
A soundless step that warns:
Beware of jungle-raised bouquets.
Beware these hidden thorns.
