REMINDERS AND NOTES!

Keep reading for AR! Remember second grade’s yearly goal is 30 points!  All books must be 2.0 or higher. March’s monthly goal is 5 points due to Spring Break.

We are practicing hard to prepare for Grandparents’ Day (Friday, March 6th).  This year’s theme is a patriotic salute.  Please plan on your student wearing their “Sunday best” in red, white, and blue colors on that day.  Also, we need your help in honoring any special family members who have served in our armed forces.  Mrs. Ellis is collecting pictures of family members in uniform for a slide presentation.  (You will get your pictures back!)  Pictures were due by February 25th. Students need to be in their teacher’s classroom by 8:45 a.m. to get ready for the program.

Also, please bring in a baby picture of your child to your child’s teacher.

Grandparent’s Day is a half-day on March 6th.
